Charla (Kahealani) Weaver

Charla Weaver is a proud lifelong resident of the Waianae Coast, a Native Hawaiian, a wife, mother and grandmother, and a Hawaiian Homestead lessee. She works as a navigator and facilitator for families in the child welfare system, where she has seen firsthand where the systems meant to protect families break down. She serves on the Nanakuli-Maili Neighborhood Board, sits on its Transportation, Housing and Zoning Committee, and has pressed for accountability at Nanakuli High and Intermediate School. She is running to bring leadership that reflects the values of the Waianae Coast: strong families, faith, hard work and neighbors who look out for each other.
