Danny De Gracia has served at the Hawaii Department of Health in chronic disease prevention for 12 years, and before that worked as a committee clerk at the State House. He chairs the HGEA Oahu Island Division Unit 13 for scientific and professional employees and sits on the Waipahu Neighborhood Board. He is running in an open seat and campaigns on the cost of living, on opposition to monopolies that let government pick winners and losers, and on a standard of integrity at the Capitol: no lying, no cheating, no stealing, and no tolerating those who do.

The Cost of Living
Food, healthcare, education and energy keep climbing while wages do not. Danny is running to lower prices and promote good jobs for the working families holding this district together.
No Monopolies
Danny opposes monopolies of every kind, arguing they come from government putting its thumb on the scale. He wants a competitive market where small businesses can offer faster, cheaper shipping options.
Integrity at the Capitol

Danny wants a standard posted at the entrance of the State Capitol: I will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those among us who do.
