This financial strain is driving too many families to leave Hawaii.

THE ISSUES

The Cost of Living in a Fast-Growing District
From the plantation homes of Ewa to the Hawaiian Homesteads and the villages of Kapolei, every family feels the pinch. Diamond points to regulation that stifles local business and a government that takes too much from overburdened taxpayers.
Hawaiian Homestead Beneficiaries
Diamond has introduced legislation aimed at empowering Hawaiian Homestead waitlistees and beneficiaries, so families on the list are not waiting a lifetime.
Growth That Serves Residents

District 42 is among the fastest growing in the state. Diamond works to make sure new development and community projects deliver for the people already living here.
