Elijah Pierick was raised in Ewa and homeschooled, and he has represented House District 39, covering Royal Kunia, Village Park, Honouliuli and Hoopili, since 2022, when he flipped the seat. He was re-elected in 2024 by 20 votes after a recount. He is a licensed mental health counselor who earned a Doctor of Ministry in pastoral counseling from Liberty University and bachelor's and master's degrees from Pacific Rim Christian University. He has worked as a chaplain and adjunct faculty member, served as a counselor at the Kapolei Youth Detention Facility and a mentor with the Hawaii Youth Challenge Academy, and serves in the United States Air Force Reserve. He has officiated OIA games at Waipahu and Campbell High Schools and traveled three times to the Philippines on humanitarian trips after Typhoon Yolanda. He and his family live in Ewa Beach.

Affording to Live in Hawaii
Families across West Oahu are being priced out of their own neighborhoods. Elijah points to rising condo insurance costs as one driver and wants more local insurers competing, alongside cheaper housing and lower electricity costs.
Peaceful Neighborhoods and Safe Streets
Elijah says neighbors are right to raise concerns about fireworks and speeding on their streets. He supports increasing security presence in neighborhoods and using police effectively to bring crime down.
Schools and the Commute

Elijah believes teachers should be paid well, and he wants to improve commute times on the roads that West Oahu families sit on every morning.
