Tony Silva has spent more than 30 years bringing people together through community service, nonprofit leadership, public service and his work with Da Braddahs. He has served on the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts and worked alongside local organizations across urban Honolulu. He is running because he cares about District 26 and wants to make it more affordable, safer and better connected. The seat is open for the first time in years, and he is asking voters in an aging community for the chance to advocate for safe streets, housing and seniors.

THE ISSUES

Ethics That Are Actually Enforced
Tony wants stronger ethics laws and violations investigated immediately, not eventually.
Fewer, Better Bills
More than 3,000 bills a session makes real review impossible. Tony would rather the Legislature be judged on whether laws improved people's lives than on how many passed.
Safe Streets

District 26 is an aging community where safety on the sidewalk is a daily concern. Tony is running to make the district safer and better connected.
